Kathleen F. Flanagan, 70, of Rapid City, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Rapid City Regional Hospice House.

Kathleen was born June 25, 1947 in Ipswich to Clarence and Frances (Biegler) Peterson. She attended Ipswich High School, going on to earn an Associate's Degree.

She enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, gold prospecting and gardening. She is a long serving secretary, treasurer and membership chairperson for the Black Hills Prospecting Club.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Kristin (Robert Christopher) Draine, Rapid City, her two brothers; Maurice (Sue) Peterson and Barry (Roxie) Peterson, Rapid City, all of Rapid City, three sisters; Janice Perrion, Ipswich, Judy (Bob) Lewis, Rapid City and Pat (Bob) Olson, Ipswich, grandchildren; Rhea Linn Draine, Brittany Lynn Draine and Estella Ostrander.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, her son, Clarence Berry, three ex-husbands; Frank Berry, Harvey Overman and Richard Wayne Flanagan and two nieces; Penny Hill and Tammi Olson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00am, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.
