New Underwood – Kevan Pennel, 74, died Monday, June 6, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Society-New Underwood Care Center.

Kevan was born in Rapid City, SD to Warren and Barbara [Lynde] Pennel on March 13, 1948.

Survivors include one sister Patricia Gaffney of Rapid City; two brothers: Kelton "Kelly" [Cathy] Pennel of Rapid City and Terry [Sue] Pennel of Black Hawk; two sons: Jeff Jensen and Keith [Megan] Jensen both of Hiawatha, KS; one daughter: Barb Jensen of Hiawatha, KS; six grandchildren all of Hiawatha, KS; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Daniel Leon Pennel; his wives: Patty [Jensen] Pennel and Richell [Knudsen] Pennel.

Public visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Thursday, June 16 2022 with a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 11:00 am, all at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Rapid City.
