RAPID CITY- Kimberly Kay Kusta Pinnix, 56, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Rapid City.

Kim was born on July 7, 1963 in Rapid City to Leonard and Marcella (Hunter) Kusta. She attended schools in Rapid City, graduating from Rapid City Central High School and them Cosmetology school. She had a long career keeping people beautiful. She especially enjoyed working at the local assisted living facilities. Her son, Trace was born October 23, 1996. He was the apple of her eye and her joy.

She enjoyed playing pool in the local leagues, winning a few tournaments; driving through the hills looking for rocks; and really enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes for her love of 15 years, Mike.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Trace Britton, Rapid City; her love, Mike Sutterer, Rapid City; brother, Dana Pomploon, Arizona; sister, Disa Jones, Philip; nieces and nephews; and her pool family.

Celebration of Kim's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Calvary Lutheran Church (5311 Sheridan Lake Rd.) with a reception to follow.
