Kyle Patrick
O'Neal
October 13, 1990 – May 6, 2024
Kyle Patrick O'Neal, age 33 and seven months, from Rapid City, SD and born on October 13, 1990; has passed away this May of 2024. It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing of Kyle; born to Michal O'Neal and Paul Rasch. Kyle spent the first years of his life in Rapid City and Spearfish, SD. Later moving to Deering, AK and back to SD; Kyle also lived on the islands of Oahu and Kaui, HI.
Throughout his life, Kyle was known for his love of the outdoors, particularly Black Elk Wilderness. Kyle enjoyed camping, hiking, biking, swimming, sparring, and wrestling. Kyle was deeply devoted to his pet dogs and a magnet to children. Kyle Patrick O'Neal was gifted in landscaping, lawn care, and tree trimming.
Kyle had a beautiful and tender heart. Kyle was a deep thinker, with a brilliant mind, and led his life with an honest disposition; always seeking balance. Through the twists and turns of Kyle's journey here, one thing remained constant; the unwavering love of his mother, father, family, and friends.
Kyle was compassionate for those he came in contact with. Kyle had a good sense of humor and had made new friends easily. Kyle was a truth seeker, with a love for philosophy.
Kyle embraced the outdoors and was always ready for an adventure. Kyle explored the beautiful Black Hills and outdoors in general. Kyle enjoyed sharing those moments with those he loved and also time there to reflect.
Kyle also was a gifted lyricist and orator by nature. Kyle often spent hours composing limericks and raps which he enjoyed sharing with others from time to time. Kyle remained an optimist for the majority of his short life but was challenged more than most during the later years of his life.
Kyle has moved on to a more peaceful existence, Our Heavenly God's Kingdom. We all will forever be grateful for having Kyle Patrick in our lives. We will reunite in God's Kingdom Forever, Amen.
Kyle Patrick's closest next of kin survived by: mother, Michal O'Neal; father, Paul Rasch; Della Caspers (grandmother mom's side) and Margarette Gonzalez-Rasch (grandmother dad's side); George O'Neal (grandfather mom's side) and Bob Rasch (grandfather dad's side); James-Paciano O'Neal (brother mom's side); Gemma, Mystery, and Merridy Rasch (sisters dad's side).
Visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Thursday, May 16 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
