RAPID CITY- Larry L. Holcomb, Jr., 55, of Rapid City, passed away April 24, 2020 with his mom by his side.

Larry was born on November 10, 1964 in Martin, South Dakota to Larry L. Holcomb, Sr. and JoAnn (Bierman) Holcomb. Larry attended school in Rapid City and joined the Navy at age 18.

He worked in the construction field for many years and was known for his meticulous finish carpentry work. He took great pride in his knowledge of the trade and his carpentry tools. He loved old cars and especially Ford pickups. Larry was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed watching classic westerns and TV shows and took great care of his cat, Jazzy and dog, Gizmo.

Larry was preceded in death by his dad, Larry Holcomb, Sr., grandparents and uncle.

He is survived by his mom, JoAnn Holcomb; sisters: Teresa (Monty) Engel; Debbie (Bob) Toms; brother, Don Holcomb; three children; five grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

A private family service will be held.
