Larry Glen Woods passed away March 2 ^nd , 2021 with his brother Dan by his side. He was 74 at the time of his passing.

He was born in Kadoka, SD on August 31, 1946 to Virgil Woods and Lila (LaBau) Woods. He lived in Cottonwood, SD until 1959 then moved to Rapid City with his family. He went to school in Cottonwood, Philip and then Rapid City.

Survivors include his sisters Virginia (Martin) Syverson of Rapid City, Louise (Lyle) Kleinschmit of Rapid City, Myrna Clough of Rapid City and one brother Danial Woods of Rapid City and was a mentor and acting dad to Anthony. He is survived by numerous other relatives.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Virgil and Lila Woods, his brother Francis (Buzz) Woods and his sister Evelyn Solano.

He was in the Army and served with honor in Vietnam. He worked in the casinos and as a taxi dispatch for many years.

He loved to explore, and his hobbies included metal detecting, collecting Fairburn Agates, Redwing Advertising Jugs, antique bottles, hunting, fishing and was a good bluffer when playing poker.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 9 ^th at 1:00pm at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with burial approximately 2:30pm at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
