Lawrence Francis LaBarge, Tucson, AZ passed away Wednesday, November. 22, 2023 at Peppi's Hospice House in Tucson, AZ.

Lawrence (Larry) was born January 31, 1947, in Wagner, SD. He was the youngest child of Frank and Marcella (Rezac) LaBarge.  He married Barbara (Henning) on August 16, 1975.  He is survived by his wife (Barb) and two sons: Ryan (Lindsey) and their two children; Evanelle and Sawyer of South Jordan, UT.  Jason (Lacey) and their four children; Isaac, Francis (Xavier), Julian, and Marcella of Severna Park, MD.  Larry is also survived by three siblings: Jean (Don) Newton of Tucson, AZ, Georgine Richardson of Sioux Falls, SD, and Bob (Kathy) LaBarge of Denver, CO.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and in-laws and a brother-in-law.

Larry worked 40 years for Western Stationers as a salesman and retired in 2015.  He enjoyed playing racquetball three times a week for many years with longtime friends.  Larry was blessed to have many lifelong friends that he cherished and kept in frequent contact.  When he and his wife moved to Tucson in 2016 he enjoyed pickle ball and golfing.  Larry was always known to have a smile on his face, a joyful disposition and is known for his classic one-liners.  We will miss him dearly!

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home in Rapid City, SD.  A Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:00 am on Friday, December 15, 2023 with a luncheon to follow. Burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
