RAPID CITY- Lorraine Josephson, 85, died Sunday, April 18, 2021 in Hot Springs, SD.

She was born on June 9, 1935 in Spencer, Iowa to Filmore and Helen LeGrand. She married Roland Schoelerman in 1955. He passed away in 1970. She married Harland Josephson in 1972.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rapid City. Lorraine loved horses, gardening, hunting, and rodeo. She loved the Lord and her family.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roland; second husband, Harland; and brother, Richard LeGrand.

She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne (Jim) Scareshawk; three grandsons: Chris Thurman, Nick Thurman, and Josh (Cassie) Thurman; eight great grandchildren: Tristen Thurman, Acadia Thurman, Lilcie Thurman, Hayden Thurman, Iilee Thurman, Josh Thurman, Jr., Riley Thurman, and Emilia Thurman; and friend, Gene Fairchild.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the funeral home.

Private burial will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
