Lucile Mavis Bailey, 76, Rapid City, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29th, 2010. Lucile was born in Newell, South Dakota, on July 14th, 1934 to William (Bill) and Florence (Curly) Bailey of Fairpoint. She attended grade school in Fairpont, then graduated from New Underwood High school and the National College of Business. After graduating from business college, she was employed by Black Hills Oldsmobile dealership in Rapid City. She later returned to the family ranch in Fairpoint, to assist her aging parents. Lucile is survived by her niece, Linda (Dennis) Graybill; their three children, Laura, Scott, and Michael; and their three children. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mildred Tillinghast and Florence Bailey. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Osheim and Schmidt Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010. Services will be at 11 AM Thursday with Rev. Paul Lloyd officiating. Burial will be at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
