Rapid City - Lucilla "Lucy" Oellrich, 81, died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxiliary Hospice House. Lucilla was born April 2, 1932 a Douglas, Wyoming to Telsfor and Amanda [Archulta] Andrada. The family moved to Buffalo, Wyoming and Lucy grew to adulthood and attended school, graduating from Buffalo High School. The then moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming where she worked at the Photo Center. She met her husband Hugh Oellrich and they were married in Buffalo, Wyoming on February 5, 1954 and just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They moved to Rapid City in 1956. Lucy worked at North Middle School for 24 years in the school lunch program and retired in 1995. Survivors include her husband: Hugh Oellrich of Rapid City; one son: Randal [Susan] Oellrich of Rapid City; two sisters: Jenny Oretrga of Douglas, Wyoming and Dorothy Wagner of Glenrock, Wyoming; sister-in-law: Kay Arellano of Glendive, Montana; four grandchildren: Stephanie Ann Oellrich, Adriene Hones, Jamie[Micah] Schiller, and Adam Oellrich; and three great-grandchildren: Seth Hones, Aidan Hones, and Noah Topping. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Moses Andrada and Richard Andrada; and one son: David Allan Oellrich. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Saturday, March 8, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Boulevard, with Rev. William Zandri officiating. Inurnment will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Hospice of the Hills of Rapid City.
