Lucy passed away on August 22nd 2012 in Chandler, Az. Lucy went to rest in the arms of Jesus after a life filled with wonderful memories. Lucy graduated from Northwest Indian Bible School with bachelors in theology in 1970. She went on to serve as a missionary with the native people for 11 yrs. Lucy then went to Dakota Wesleyan University and graduated in 1985 with an Associates in the Science of Nursing. Lucy continued to serve as a nurse for 27 years. Lucy is survived by her son Larry D Salway her daughters, Lauriene D Salway, Lisa D Salway and Rosita M Salway. She is also survived by four amazing grandchildren Bradlee Corcoran, Michelle Corcoran, Michaela Corcoran, and Brittany Corcoran. She is also survived by five sisters, three brothers, three foster sisters and twenty eight nieces and nephews . Lucy was preceded in death by her mother Maria De Jesus Villalobos Simental her father Pedro Simental her foster mother Mary Hartman , her foster father Raymond (Bud) Hartman, her brother Raymond Garcia her three sister and one brother that died in infancy. Funeral services will be held at the Bible Christian Church 4286 Twilight Dr. in Rapid City, SD on Saturday September 1st at 2:30pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Smithwick Cemetery in Smithwick, SD.
