Rapid City – Luetta Brink, 75 died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Westhills Village Health Care Center in Rapid City.

Luetta Laurel Krein was born July 19, 1940 in Eureka, SD to Ferdinand and Magdalena [Vossler] Krein. She attended school and graduated from Wishek High School in Wishek, ND in 1958. After high school Luetta met the love of his life, Duane Brink, and they married on August 7, 1959. Their son Patrick Jay Brink was born on September 10, 1969.

Luetta loved being a wife and mother and Luetta and husband Duane were always together and enjoyed traveling to foreign places.

She was very active and involved in the community including church and social groups. Luetta enjoyed playing bridge, spending time with friends and was very active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for  many years.

She loved everyone around her and would do anything to make someone smile. She will be missed greatly.

Grateful to have been a part of her life are her son Patrick, daughter in law Hope, and grandson Taylor, all of Rapid City. She is also survived by her sister: Vi Ruff, and one brother Bob Krein.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Connie, Darlene, and Stella; and brothers:  Clarence, Kenneth, Roger, and Leo.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday, March 16 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday, March 17 at the First Presbyterian Church, 710 Kansas City Street with Rev. Jeff Kintner officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be directed to Rapid City Regional Hospice Auxiliary House.
