Rapid City- Mabel E. Bailie, 91 Rapid City, passed away Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City.
She was born Dec. 28, 1925 in Wetonka, South Dakota, daughter of James and Margaret (Dreghorn) Hutton. Mabel was a homemaker, she was a volunteer for Dakota Star Federal Credit Union, Women of the Moose and Moose Lodge 1137, Senior Center as well as for the senior games. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and served on altar guild for a number of years.
She is survived by her daughter Colleen (Howard) Dennis of Rapid City SD; her son Joel (Valerie) Bailie of Bend. OR; grandchildren: Michelle (John) Kruse and David (Robin) Dennis of Rapid City, Zachary (Jillian) Bailie) of Westminster, CO, Lindsey (Daniel) Schreiber, Aurora, CO , Brandon (Jessica) Bailie of Bend, OR; great-grandchildren: Kayla (JD) Isakson, Piedmont, SD, Robert Myers, Rapid City, SD, Cole (CJ) Powell, Valley Springs, SD, Carson Oliver, Black Hawk, SD and Amanda Kruse, Rapid City; great-great-grandchildren ; Jeffery and Adam Isakson, Piedmont, SD, Parker Bailie, Westminster, CO, Oakley and Presley Powell, Valley Springs, SD, and many nieces and nephews
She was proceed in death by her parents, her husband Ralph L. Bailie, her infant son Ralph Jr. and 2 brothers and 10 sisters
Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, Nov. 9th at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Women of the Moose Chapter #1221 Rites at 6:30 pm at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Nov. 10th at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Warren Lahammer officiating.
Burial will be at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at Faith Lutheran Church, 17 Indiana Street, Rapid City, SD.
