Rapid City –  Madalyn Stone, 90 years young, went home to Jesus on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at home with family by her side.

She was born on September 21, 1935 to William Emil Imm and Alice Dorthy Imm (Klapperich) in Turton, SD. She graduated from Turton High School in 1953 where she would become a Turton Frog for the rest of her life. She graduated from business college in Aberdeen SD in 1954 then started her career at Wall Drug.

Madalyn met her beloved husband Warren Stone in the summer of 1954 and they started their married life Sept. 7,1955 and immediately went on their honeymoon to Denver, CO where Warren started barber school. They returned to SD, started a family, and later Madalyn managed Parkway Restaurant which they co-owned with another couple for several years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, sister Kathern Baker and brother Albert Imm. She leaves behind sisters Florence Peterson and Bernice Boesl.

She is survived by her children Thomas Stone, Janet Lohrman, Jolynn Hein, and Terry Stone. She has 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Her visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, October 16, 2025 at St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church, 532 Adams Street with a Vigil Service and recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am at the church on Friday, October 17.

The Burial Service will be at 2:30 pm at Black Hills National Cemetery.
