RAPID CITY- Marc Raymond "Rosie" Ruscitti, age 63, passed away unexpectedly this week at his home in Rapid City, South Dakota. Marc was born on February 26, 1953 in Hollywood, California to Ray and Georgia (Bedran) Ruscitti. He lived much of his childhood in Chicago. He received a football scholarship to the University of South Dakota, where he graduated in 1975. While there he fell in love with the great outdoors, and spent the rest of his life as an avid hunter and fisherman.

Known by his friends as Rosie, Marc loved rehabilitating abused dogs which was evident by his current friend Sioux Sue. Marc will be remembered for epic storytelling, sense of humor, excellent taste in television and movies, and zest for life. A life-long Cubs fan, luckily Marc was able to see his team finally win it all.

He is the beloved son of Georgia Rutherford, Woodridge, IL, the loving father of  Rachel (David), San Tan Valley, Arizona and Nick (Kerry), Sioux Falls, South Dakota and adoring grandfather of Beckett.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Michael.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Osheim and Schmidt Funeral Home on Tuesday February 21, 2017 at 4:00p.m.
