Rapid City, South Dakota| Marcella (Marci) Rose (Brown) Howe, 75, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, South Dakota.
She was born January 25, 1947 in Painesville, Ohio, the middle child of Leonard and Irene (Martin) Anthony Sr. Marci completed high school in Painesville, Ohio.
She met her husband of 48 years, Robert (Bob) Howe, while living in Redwood City, California and they got married in Carson City, Nevada on June 23, 1973. They moved to Rapid City, South Dakota in December of 1976. Marci worked in bookkeeping and secretarial for many years. She enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, watching Hallmark movies and TV game shows with Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune being her favorites. She was an outstanding Pictionary player. In 2003, she opened and ran Grandmas Daycare along with her husband out of her home until her death.
Survivors include husband Robert Howe of Rapid City; daughters Kim Ingleston (Jason Stanley) of Rapid City, SD, Darcey (Tim) West of Rapid City, SD, Heidi (Mark) Hunt of Hillsboro, OR, and Jenny (Gary) Farwell of Beaverton, OR; grandchildren Brittany (Steven) Wells of Virginia Beach, VA, Jonah Segatti of Rapid City, SD, Hannah Farwell of Beaverton, OR, and Lukas Farwell of Beaverton, OR; great-grandchildren Kaylie Bronaugh, Liliana Wells, and Cornelius Wells of Virginia Beach, VA; Sister Mary Lou Eby of Rockledge, FL; Brother-In-Law James (Sharon) Howe of Miles City, MT. Plus many fur grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ed Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be from noon till 4 pm on Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Rapid City Moose Lodge, 841 E St Patrick Street, Rapid City, SD.
