Marilyn Joann Geiver, age 83, of Rapid City, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.

Marilyn Joann (Moen) Geiver was born in Madison,South Dakota,the only child of Alma and Almer Moen on July 4, 1932. She was raised in Sioux Falls, SD.  She graduated from Washington High school in Sioux Falls SD, in 1950 and attended college at Augustana University. She was united in marriage to Billie D. Geiver on August 30, 1953.Together they shared in 62 years of marriage.  Marilyn was a homemaker,and a mother of four, grandmother of five, as well as a great-grandmother of eight. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, crotcheting, bingo, as well as bird watching. She died at her home surrounded by her family, as a result of complications of Alzheimer's Disease.

Marilyn is survived by her Husband, Billie Geiver, Daughter, Christy Clanton, Grandchildren, Carmen Mathes, Teresa (Randy) Holt, Miranda Clanton, and Dawn Fox. Great-grandchildren Kayley,Madison,Colby,Ruby and Jase Mathes, Blake, Gavin and Bradley Bell, as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her daughters Cathy (Geiver) Fox, Candy Geiver, a son Terry Geiver, a grandson Cameron Fox, Son-in-Law Roy Clanton, and her parents Alma and Almer Moen, as well as many other family members.

There will be a private family service at a later date.
