Rapid City Marion (Andersen) Eng, 92, Rapid City, passed away, Friday, November 12 at the Hospice House in Rapid City. She was born December 21, 1917 in Badger, South Dakota to Chris and Stella (Potter) Andersen. Marion taught school in Canova and Pierre, South Dakota. For several years she worked in South Dakota and in Seattle, Washington for Child Protective Services. Marion married John S. Eng in 1960. The same year they opened the Eng Wood Sculpture Studio in Hill City, South Dakota. Survivors include two sisters, Delores Robbian, St. Petersburg, Florida, Janice Winger, Hill City, and several nieces and nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John and a brother, Richard P. Andersen of Badger. Upon her request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is planned for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 21 at the Hospice House at 224 Elk Street, Rapid City, South Dakota 57701. A private burial will be held in the Hill City Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Hill City Area Arts Council, P.O.
