Rapid City – Marion L. Tellinghuisen, 93, died Saturday, October 20, 2018.

Marion La Vonne Wiener was born July 1, 1925 at White, SD to Andrew and Marie (Roepke) Wiener. She received her education and was a school teacher and a homemaker. She married Calvin Tellinghuisen on June 8, 1945 at Brookings, SD. Calvin died December 24, 2002.

Marion is survived by three daughters: Linda Kertscher of Rapid City, Valerie (Arnie) Kleppin of Flagstaff, AZ and Leann (Paul) Sterk of Rapid City; one son: Wayne (Jo) Tellinghuisen of Melbourne, FL; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister: Arlene Hammond of New Prague, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Larry, sister Dorothy, and brother Frank.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Wednesday October 24 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home and the funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday October 25 at the funeral home.

All flowers may be brought to the funeral home.
