Rapid City – Marlis Mae Driveness, 80, Rapid City resident and former Madison resident died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at her Rapid City residence.

She was born in Madison on July 16, 1936, the daughter of Albert and Ida [Tidblom] Driveness. She grew up in Madison and graduated from high school at Madison in 1954. Marlis moved to Rapid City following her high school graduation and has been a resident of Rapid City since that time.

Survivors include her sister, Geraldine Clinton of Rapid City.

Graveside services will be held at the Graceland Cemetery in Madison at 10:30 am, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 with the Rev. Constanze Hagmeier officiating.
