RAPID CITYMarri T. Clausen, loving wife, mother, and sister passed into the arms of heaven at her home on Wednesday morning, January 11, 2012. Marri Teresa Bowlby was born March 6, 1949 at Portland, Oregon to Fred and Marjorie [Murphy] Bowlby, Jr. She married Roger Dean Clausen on January 15, 1983 at Hillsboro, Oregon. She loved her craftwork, artwork, and working with stained glass. She also loved to travel, enjoy new experiences and cultures. Her happiest moments were as a homemaker and time with family and friends. She will be missed but never forgotten. Survivors include her husband, Roger Clausen, Rapid City; her mother, Marjorie Doone Bowlby, Hillsboro, OR; a daughter, Jessica Clausen, Rapid City; 2 sons, Patrick [Heather] Clausen, Stanfordville, NY and Benjamin Clausen, Peoria, Ill; a sister, Rebecca Becky [Syril] Kahale, Honolulu, HI; 2 brothers, Kenneth Bowlby and Shawn [Tami] Bowlby, both of Hillsboro, OR; mother-in-law: Frances Clausen of Rapid City; and several nieces and nephews. Marri was preceded in death by her father, Fred. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Boulevard. Services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with the Rev. Vicki French officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
