Martin Pena Jr. 88 of Rapid City passed away, Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Monday, March 28 at St. Therese the Little Flower Catholic Church, with Fr. Kerry Prendiville as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the Mass at the church. Burial with full military honors will be 12:00pm at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.

Martin was born April 25, 1933, in Beeville, TX, to Martin Pena Sr and Soila Mendoza. He was married to Beatriz "Triz" Pena.

Martin is survived by his wife; Beatriz "Triz", children; Dr. Michael Pena of SD, Patricia (Kenneth) Katzer of IL, brothers; Marcus Pena of CA, Tony Pena of TX, David Pena of TX, sisters; Mary Boatman of TX, Mary Jane Segrets of TX, Alice Keilman of TX, Luci Pena of TX, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Martin was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mark Pena.
