Marvin "Marv" William Peck, 92, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at Ft. Meade Veterans Hospital.

Marv was born May 12, 1931, in Rapid City, SD at St. John's Hospital to Louise (Cuny) and Donald Peck.

He joined the Air Force and served in Korea.  He was honorably discharged, returned to Rapid City and married Phyllis Poter.  They had three children:  Jeanne, Debra and Jim.

Marv raised his three children and spent his career working as a Linesman with Black Hills Power and Light.

In 1977 he and Dorothy (Dottie) Rounds were married.

Survivors include spouse Dottie Peck, daughter Jeanne Peck, daughter Debra Durant, stepson Curt (Tamra) Taylor, stepdaughter Laura (Jim) Honey.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jacob Harkins, Joshua Ford-Harkins, Joseph Harkins, step-grandchildren, Joey Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Jennifer Taylor, Katy Taylor, Jesse Taylor and Hanna Frye.

Funeral services will be at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home on Thursday, August 31st at 10:30 a.m. with refreshments to be served after the funeral.  Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
