SPEARFISH - Mary Alice Gainey, 68, Spearfish and formerly of Rapid City, died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at home. Survivors include three sons, William Gainey, Gardner, Kan., Michael Gainey, Las Vegas, and Patrick Gainey, Spearfish; nine grandchildren; three brothers, Dick Sladovnik and Paul Sladovnik, both of Omaha, Neb., and David Sladovnik, Honolulu; and a sister, Susan Kohl, Aurora, Neb. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Monday, June 7, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Christian wake services will be at 7:00 p.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help with Rev. Michel Mulloy presiding. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
