RAPID CITY- Mary F. Hutchings passed away Thursday, June 28, at Bella Vista Care Center.

Mary was born April 25, 1926 to William and Amy Bevelhymer in Newcastle, NE.

Mary married George Hutchings, her high school sweetheart, while George served in the Marines during WWII. They moved to Rapid City in 1951. They were happily married for 57 years until George's death in 2002.

She is survived by her son, Evan (Paulette) Hutchings, Black Hawk, SD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister, and her husband, George.

Mary enjoyed people and touched the hearts of many. Her bubbly personality shined through, even during the darkest stages of dementia.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.
