Obituary

RAPID CITY | Mary Beth Moser, 36, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle against cancer.

Mary Elizabeth (Mary Beth) was born to Tammy Dornbusch and Rick Bohn on December 2, 1979. She was then adopted by Ben and Marlene Nemec of Holabird, SD. Mary Beth was an adorable, easy going baby and the apple of her daddy's eye.

She was a vivacious, energetic girl. You could always find her where the action was. As a little girl Mary Beth loved riding horses, playing basketball and softball. She was a hard worker at everything she was doing. Her kindergarten teacher said "if you want to get something done, ask Mary Beth to do it".

In high school Mary Beth was very active in basketball and track. Besides being a star athlete, she was a good student, graduating with highest honors from Highmore High School in 1998. She graduated from Mitchell Tech as a certified Medical Assistant.

Mary Beth worked at clinics in Pierre and Grand Forks ND, but her favorite clinic was the Rapid City Regional Health Clinic.

She worked for the same doctor for 10 years, her dearly loved Dr. Bowman.

On September 20th 2008, Mary Beth married her soul mate Paul, whom she met while playing softball. They welcomed the birth of their daughter Kaydence Faith on January 29th 2014. Everyone that encountered Mary Beth could feel and appreciate her absolute love for Paul and Kaydence.

Mary Beth was a sports fanatic! She played softball for as long as she possibly could. Her attendance to the games became an inspiration to her girls, well after she was unable to play. She not only loved playing sports, but she loved watching them. Her expertise of sports was sought out and envied by many. She was known for being a fan of the Chicago Bulls and especially of Michael Jordan. While her love for the Bulls faded over time, her love for basketball didn't. In fact, she was watching the NBA game on the day she passed.

Mary Beth was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was inspiration to many and loved by everyone that knew her. Her tender heart, fighting spirit and giving nature will be greatly missed.

Mary Beth is survived by her husband Paul and daughter Kaydence. Parents Ben (Kathy) Nemec, Marlene (Bob) Asfeld, Rick Bohn and Tammy (Mike) Mach. Six siblings David (Cindy) Adkins, Chad (Yevette) Nemec, Darin (Kim) Nemec, Tony Nemec, Chellee Nemec (John Unruh) and Lexi Bohn. Her in laws Dennis and Jone Moser, Frank (Laura) Moser, Becky (Joe) Bowden and many nieces, nephews and loved dearly beloved three godchildren, as well as undeniably amazing friends.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers Steven and Marty Adkins. Grandma & Grandpa McCool, Grandma and Grandpa Nemec, Grandma and Grandpa Dornbusch and Nephew Christopher Adkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Kaydence's higher education, this is very important to Mary Beth and Paul.
