RAPID CITY- Michelle Renee (Jacobson) Goodgion, age 39 passed away on April 19, 2014, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. She was born on January 30, 1975, in Springfield, Illinois, to Allen and Jeanne Jacobson. She moved to Rapid City at the age of eight months and attended Rapid City Stevens High School. She married Bill Goodgion on April 27, 1996. In May 2006 she received a licensed practical nursing degree and worked in the medical profession until the time of her death. She had great compassion for people in their time of illness, and as a director of Mary Kay cosmetics enjoyed helping people look their very best. She lived her life with passion and loved with her whole heart. She is survived by her husband, Bill Goodgion, Rapid City, S.D.; son, Tyler Goodgion, Aberdeen, S.D.; daughter, Rachel Goodgion, Rapid City, S.D.; mother, Jeanne Jacobson, Rapid City, S.D.; sister Jeannette (Todd) Obernolte), St. Paul, MN; brother Tim (Kaarin) Jacobson, Denver, CO; brother James Jacobson (George Singer), Los Angeles, CA; mother-in-law, Darlene Wallace, San Marcos,TX; brother-in-law Reuben Goodgion, Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law Madchen (Brad) Gossfeld, San Marcos, TX; nieces Sarah and Anna Jacobson, Denver, CO; niece Aislinn Gossfeld, San Marcos, TX; nephews Logan and Ethan Gossfeld, San Marcos, TX. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Allen Jacobson. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, April 25, at Destiny Foursquare Church in Rapid City.
