RAPID CITY- Mildred Lois "Millie" Christianson, 84, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Golden Living Center- Prairie Hills. Millie was born September 7, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH to Clifton and Eulah Benton. She attended Cincinnati Public Schools and God's Bible School. She married Ronald Dinstel in 1948 and moved to Ridge, MT, to his folk's ranch. She was greeted a few months later by the blizzard of '49. She had two children by this marriage, Pamela and Susan. She later moved from Billings, MT to Rapid City and Pierre, SD where she met and married Everett Christianson in May, 1974. She worked as an office manager and bookkeeper in several businesses and retired as a loan processor at Norwest Bank real estate department. Millie is survived by her husband, Chris, Rapid City; daughter Pam (Lee) Winchester, Rapid City; Susan (Mark) Gill, Windsor, CO; brother, Norman Benton, West Worwick, RI; sister, Bernice Pomeroy, Federal Way, WA; two stepsons: Jay and Jeff Christianson; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Savot officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City. A memorial has been established to Youth and Family Services in Rapid City.
