RAPID CITY - Nanette Joy Nan Roskos, 55, Rapid City, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Nan was born May 12, 1956 in Watertown, SD to Ervin and Nina (Parks) Stephens . She graduated from Chamberlain High School in Chamberlain, SD in 1975. Being very creative, Nan could take something very simple and make it a piece of art. She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful heart for other people. Also, her dog Jasmine was a special part of her life. Survivors include her husband John Roskos, Rapid City; two daughters, Lindsey Roskos and fianc Billy Clucas, Rapid City, and Amee Roskos, Fort Collins, Colo.; her mother, Nina Stephens, Chamberlain; two brothers, Roger Stephens, Redwood City, Calif. And Steven (Vicki) Stephens, Rapid City; and two sisters, Sandra (John) Parker, Mitchell, and Lorri (Tim) Amsden, Williston, N.D; eight nieces and three nephews. Nan will be truly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be for one hour before services. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Duane Earwood officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
