Rapid City – Noreen Mae Rose, 91, died Friday, November 14, 2025 at Clarkson Healthcare Center.

Noreen Mae Kurle was born June 16, 1934 in McIntosh, SD to William and Hildred (Barnette) Kurle. She attended school at McLaughlin, SD and graduated from McLaughlin High School in 1952.

Noreen met Marvin Wick and they were soon married on February 14, 1953 in Coronado, California. Together they had 3 daughters and 7 sons. He died January 1, 2014.

Noreen was a stay-at-home mom raising her 10 children and in 1979 started working at Walt Disney Studios and retired in 1986.

She married John Rose on January 31, 1987 in Sunland, California. They eventually settled in Rapid City, SD and John died April 28, 2021 and Noreen became a resident at Clarkson Healthcare Center. John and Noreen were married  34 years.

Noreen is survived by two daughters: Barbara (Steve) Swancutt of Simi Valley, CA and Jennifer Wick of Sunland, CA; six sons: Jim (JJ) Wick of Las Vegas, NV, Jeff Wick of Rapid City, Tim Wick of Los Angeles, CA, Tom Wick of Los Angeles, CA, Doug (Connie) Wick of Laguna, CA, and David (Lana) Wick of Heber City, UT. She has 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and one brother Mike (Marlene) Kurle of Rapid City.

She was very active through out the years of the boys playing baseball and sitting on the Board of Directors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin Wick, son Robert Wick, daughter Jacqueline Wick, sister Rita Mollman, and husband John Rose.

Her visitation will be 9:00 am to 10:00 am Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Blessed Sacrament Church with Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Rapid City.
