Obituary
Rapid City – Patricia Anne Samuel, 80, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Spearfish Canyon Healthcare.
She was born September 17, 1945 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to James and Leslie (Holmes) Melvin.
Patti is survived by her three siblings: Mary Rapp, John (Marty) Melvin, and Gerarda Brodin; two sons; Justun and Kevin Samuel and their wives; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Kevin and Michael Melvin, and sister Nancy Melvin.
Visitation will be 9:00 – 10:00 am and the Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Therese Catholic Church – The Little Flower in Rapid City.
Burial Service will be 12:30 am at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
