BLACK HAWK- Patrick Steven Lofswold, 36, was born in Sioux Falls on December 21, 1980 and died on Saturday, May 6, 2017 doing what he loved to do, near his home in Black Hawk, SD.

Patrick graduated from O'Gorman High School and went on to earn a degree in electro mechanical engineering from Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls. His passion for motorcycles led him to the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute where he became a certified Harley Davidson mechanic. He had been working at Dakota Business Center for 10 years.

He married Lisa Coe on September 22, 2012 in Piedmont with a V.I.P. in attendance, their beloved son, Ethan Craig.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph and Betty O'Connell and Laverne and Arlene Lofswold; and his father in law, Craig Coe.

Patrick is survived by his beautiful wife, Lisa; soon to be Kindergartener, Ethan; his parents, Steve and Mary, the epitome of kindness, love, and understanding; his sisters: Angela (Nolan) Saufley, Custer; Erin (Alan) Eleria, St. Paul, MN; special "sister", Megan (Matt) Sage, Sioux Falls; nephews, Nolan Jr. and Reid Saufley, Custer; nieces, Claire and Grace Eleria, St. Paul, MN; brothers more than cousins, Tim and Matt Lofswold; mother in law, Patti Coe; sister in laws, Lauren (Allan) Wylie; Lindsay (David Dean) Coe; four legged love, Meeka and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Christian Wake Services will follow at 7:00 p.m.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at Blessed Sacrament Church.

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
