Paul R. Goheen, 82, died on June 16, 2014. Paul was born on February 14, 1932, in Aberdeen to Grant and Hulda Goheen. After graduating from Aberdeen High School, he was employed for NW Bell Telephone. He then joined the Navy, served 4 years and was honorably discharged. Paul returned to NW Bell and met Jan Huber. They were married on April 6, 1957 and lived in numerous cities in South Dakota. They settled in Rapid City, where they became involved in Western Dakota Gem and Mineral Club and Minneluzahan Senior Center. Survivors include his wife, Jan; sons, Greg of Rapid City and Brad of Sioux Falls; 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and one sister. Paul expressed his wishes that no funeral services be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to benefit Hospice of the Hills. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Prairie Hills Golden Living Center for their care and support in his final days.
