Paula G. Watkins, 56, passed away February 15, 2021 at the age of 56 at The Hospice House in Rapid City, South Dakota. She peacefully passed away in her sleep from a long fight of Breast Cancer.

Paula Georgeana Martin was born on July 3,1964 in Burbank, California to Arthur Eugene and Bertha Eva (Tucker) Martin. She was the 8th child of 9 children. At the time of her birth her family lived in the San Fernando Valley of California. In 1965, her family relocated to Simi Valley, California. This is where she grew up and made lots of friends. While in elementary school, she met her Best Friends Danielle MacKenzie and Lisa Serverino. Her mom called them "The Three Amigos!" If there was one, the others were close by. Later their pack grew to add Heather Miller, Roxanne MacKenzie, Lila Gutzman and Leslie Barney. Her friends were her extended family, they did everything together and they meant so much to her. Paula was very active, she loved playing baseball, hiking, camping, the love of the beach and hanging with her close net friends. Then she met Michael (Mike) Watkins and started a family and moved to South Dakota. She loved the beauty of the Black Hills and called it home for many years.

She was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Mother and Grandma. She is survived by her Brother Ron Martin of Sparta Tn. Her sisters Sheila Lynch of Red Bluff, CA, Francine Martin of Thousand Oaks, CA, Carole Spalding of Saint Louis, MO and Lorenda Martin of Hermosa, SD. Also, 13 Nephew and 5 Niece and many Great Nephews and Nieces. She is also survived by her Children: Travis, Stephanie, Shania, and Shane. Grandchildren: Brie, Brody, Alona, Mason, Olivia, Cowen, Brinley, Maleah, Chase, Kylee, Hannah, Casin, Caine, and Eden.

Paula was preceded in death by her Father Arthur Martin, Mother Eva Martin, Sister Linda Muller & Sharon Kreymer and her Brother Stewart Martin.

A memorial service will be held in the spring/summer 2021.
