A beautiful soul

Preston Crites, a beloved member of the Rapid City community, passed away on October 29, 2024, at the young age of 24.  Born on May 5, 2000, Preston brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.  His infectious smile and kind heart touched the lives of so many people.  He was a man that tried his hardest at everything he tried to succeed no matter what it was.  Preston will forever be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and all who were fortunate enough to have known him.  May he rest in peace knowing the impact he had on those around him were not in vain.  And in all of our hearts he will forever be with us in spirit.

Visitation will be at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home – 2700 Jackson Blvd Thursday, November 14, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday, November 15, at 10:30 am.  Graveside services with military honors will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
