Rapid City – Randall "Randy" Lauen, 54, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 near Hill City as a result of a two-vehicle auto accident.

Randall LeRoy Lauen was born May 6, 1963 at Webster, SD to Sam and Harriet Lauen.

Randy married Valerie Peters on November 6, 1982 at Watertown, SD.

Survivors include his wife: Valerie Lauen and daughters: Ashley and Amanda Lauen of Rapid City; brother Rick Lauen and sister Marge Blais, both of Watertown, SD; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Randy loved to ride motorcycles, race cars, build custom cars, bikes, and loved the old '32 Fords.

Visitation will start at 1:00 pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at The Little White Church in Hill City, and Memorial services will be 2:00 pm The Little White Church.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer a memory plaque, garden stones, or similar item.
