RAPID CITY – Raymond Arthur "Ray" Keller, 66, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023.

He is survived by his children, Myron (April) Forslin, Samantha Keller, and Alex (Caitlin) Keller; his former wife and mother to Samantha and Alex, Kelly Keller; his twin sister, Louise, sister, Melanie, and brother, Bill; his grandchildren, Isabelle, Hattie, and Nash, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Wilma Keller and his dear nephew, Joshua Raymond Haugen.

He was born in Rapid City in 1957.  Later, the family moved to Minnesota.  He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Bloomington, MN in 1975.  He returned to Rapid City to purse a degree in Radiology.

Ray had several careers including as a professional musician and as a custom drapery contractor.  He was a member of the Blues Society and enjoyed playing as a drummer with various groups.  Ray was known for his culinary skills in preparing special meals for others.  He was also proud of keeping a beautiful garden at his home.

Most importantly, he was a passionate and fiercely loving father and grandfather.  He will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.   A funeral service will follow Wednesday, July 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.
