Reva Palmerton Kurtz

Formerly of Rapid City, SD and previous long-term resident in Rosemount and Falcon Heights, MN.  Passed away April 11, 2016 at age 85, in Mankato, MN following a brief illness.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Leighton and Ruth Palmerton of Rapid City, SD, her son Steven and sister-in-law Ann Palmerton.  Survived by her beloved brother, Major General (Ret.) Leighton Palmerton and her sons Scott, Bruce and Craig, along with their families, including ten grandchildren.  Reva was devoted to her family and had a fine appreciation for the beauty of nature.  In addition to raising four boys, she had a professional career in the field of medical technology and the teaching of related topics at the college level.  She was a strong supporter of her church, a lifelong member of PEO, and an advocate of reading and hard work.  She will be missed.  Memorial service plans are still under consideration by the family.  In lieu of memorials, please remember her in your prayers and remember her fondly.
