Richard (Dick) Buckingham passed away April 3rd, 2020, at Monument Hospice House in Rapid City SD.

Dick was born in Denver December 7, 1931, to Oliver and Marion Buckingham. After graduation of Sr High school Dick was drafted into the Army in 1951.  His military duty was spent mostly in Korea during the Korean war and was then discharged in 1953. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and skiing. He had a love for his cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He traveled many places with family and friends.

Dick was partners of Buckingham Leasing in Denver with his father Oliver, brother Bruce of South Dakota, and sister Ellen of Eaton.  The company then relocated to Rapid City SD.

Dick is survived by his sister Ellen Hansen of Eaton, CO, sister-in-law Beverly Buckingham of Rapid City, SD, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial will be held 2:00pm Friday, July 16, 2021 at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD on July 16, 2021.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Monument Hospice in Rapid City or Meals on Wheels Rapid City
