Rita was born Aug 14, 1925 in Presho SD to Lloyd "Mac" and Victorian "Vic" (Muldoon) McCormick. They moved to Rapid City in 1936, where Rita went to Cleghorn School, and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1943.  Rita married Francis "Dick" Grabowska on September 16,1947 in Rapid City.

Rita worked for many businesses during her working career.  She was one of the founders of Blessed Sacrament Church and a faithful member.  She was Eucharistic Minister for 35 years and also visited the homebound, taking them Communion.  She served on several committees in the Parish.

Rita is survived by one son, DeWayne (Roz) Grabowska, Rapid City.  Four daughters:  Rose (Don) Ball, Beulah, ND; Patty (Don) Duncan, Gillette WY; Mary Beth (Charles) Miller, Plankinton SD; Delores (Steve) Wipf-Noecker, Rapid Ciity.   A sister, Mary Jane Mills, Gilbert AZ.   A very close friend, Ron Jensen.  Rita was blessed with 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.  Rita has many nieces and nephews.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband in 1967; a son, Lloyd; her parents; a brother Frank; and her sisters, Delores and Loydene.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, Sept. 1, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 4500 Jackson Blvd. with rosary recitation during visitation.

Christian funeral mass will be offered at 1:00 pm on Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Rev. Tim Hoag presiding.

Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
