Robertta R. Robbie' Meis, 69, died at her Rapid City home, on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Robbie was born on July 24, 1943 in Salem, Nebraska to Prevost I. and Ora J. (Krull) Runyan. She graduated high school and later attended beauty school. On January 11, 1964, she married Donald Joseph Meis, Sr., in Lincoln, Nebraska. She loved being a grandmother and spending time at the cabin in Pierre with her family. Survivors include 2 sons, Don J. (Vicki) Meis Jr. and Robert I. Meis, both of Rapid City; 2 daughters, Kim (Russ) Johnson, Hill City and Andrea (Curt) McKiernan, Johnson Siding; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded death by her husband, Donald J. Meis, Sr. in 1994. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 10, from 5 until 7 pm, with a Christian Wake Service following at 7:00 p.m., at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 11, at St. Therese Church with Rev. William Zandri officiating. Burial will follow in Black Hills National Cemetery.
