Robert L. Rineard, 82, Rapid City died Friday, November 11, 2011 at Fort Meade Veterans Hospital in Sturgis. He was born to Ken and Esther (Paull) Rineard on August 19, 1929 in Harrisburg, PA. Robert loved the Lord and his church family. He was a family man, avid fly fisherman, and a gem and mineral enthusiast. Grateful to have shared his life are his wife, Ruth; daughter Kathy Ertel; son Eric (Melissa) Rineard and their daughter, Erica; son Earl Rineard; all of Rapid City; granddaughter, Nicole Ertel and her son Blake of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers of Harrisburg, PA; and by his grandson Christian Rineard of Rapid City. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home in Rapid City. Services will be held at 9:30 am, Thursday, November 17, at South Canyon Lutheran Church with Rev. Bruce Thalacker officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
