RAPID CITY--Robert L. Ripple, 96, died at a Rapid City nursing home on Sunday, July 13, 2008. Bob served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. Survivors include 3 daughters, Sandy Denny and Janet Starkey, Rapid City and Bobbie Phillips, Salt Lake City; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, on February 26, 2008. Visitation will be one hour prior to services, which will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, at Canyon Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. Rebecca Trefz officiating. Interment will follow in Black Hills National Cemetery.
