Robert Snyder, 83, of Brighton, passed away on August 21, 2014. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Marjorie (Sanders) Snyder; children Karleen Ring, Lynnette Merich and Robert J. Snyder; siblings Dennis Snyder, Fred Snyder, Joan Goodart and Joyce Fursteau. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Florence Snyder and siblings John Snyder, Don Snyder, Edna Wright, Doris Curns and Maxine Bull. Bob graduated from Rapid City High School in 1950 and served in the US Navy from 1950 - 1954. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home, 2700 Jackson Boulevard in Rapid City, South Dakota. with Rev. William "Bill" Zandri. Robert will be laid to rest at Black Hills National Cemetery at 10:30 am on Friday, August 29, 2014 with Military honors.
