Rapid City – Ronald West, 51, died Sunday, March 18, 2017 in Rapid City due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, March 21 at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home.

Ron was born July 16, 1965 to Elbert LeRoy and Jeanne Ruth [Van Bruggen] West at Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He was a service tech at Camping World.

Survivors include his wife: Shauna West of Rapid City; three sons: Keegan [Makaila] West and their son Simon of Laramie, WY, Kohler West of Rapid City, and Corey Mack of Laramie, WY; one daughter Arizona [Justus] Lee and their two sons Harvard and Kynian of Rapid City; his mother and step-father: Jeanne and Roger Taube of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers: Scott [Amy] West of St. Louis, MO and Randy [Cindy] Itsema of New Mexico and one sister Nikki Miller.

Ron was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation will follow visitation and there will be memorial services held at his residence at 4:00 pm Saturday, March 25.
