RAPID CITY- Rose Margaret Neubert, 76, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Rose was born on November 9, 1937 in London, England to Mr. and Mrs. William Hadley. Rose graduated from South East Technical School where she began working as a talented seamstress. She married Richard D. Neubert on March 9, 1957 in London England. Shortly after they were married, the couple moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where Richard was stationed in the U.S. Air Force. Rose worked at K-Mart for 14 years and then for Rapid City Regional Hospital for 18 years as a Health Unit Clerk. She was an avid gardener. She had many roses and other flowers planted at their Fairmont Blvd. home. She loved writing poems, making necklaces and bracelets and knitting, especially prayer shawls for her church. Rose's life was centered around her family and friends. She loved them all very much. She will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Survivors include her husband, Richard D. Neubert, Sr., Rapid City; two sons: Richard D. (Sherrie) Neubert, Jr.,, Hill City; John W. (Toni) Neubert, Santee, California; three daughters: Lynne P. (Brian) Neubert-Coomes, Miami, FL; Lisa C. (Doug) Neubert-Murphy, St. George, KS; Amy Rose (Brad) Neubert- James, Whitman, NE; brother, John Hadley, London, England; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Fred. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Wilbur Holz officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations in Rose's honor to be made out to Rapid City Regional Hospital Auxiliary Hospice House.
