RAPID CITY- Rosemary L. Truesdell, 90, Rapid City, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at her residence. Rosemary was born March 31, 1920 in Maxwell, NE to William and Mabel (Golden) Crampton. On December 23, 1938, she married Clifford P. Truesdell in Ponca, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Omaha and lived there until 1948, when they moved to Broken Bow, Nebraska. Here the couple established the Truesdell Furniture Store. In 1953, they moved to Rapid City where Cliff and Rosemary started the American Furniture Store and Red Barn Furniture. In 1965, the couple moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and established the American Furniture Store in 1988. Rosemary retired after her husband passed away in 1996. She is survived by her son, Charles (Joann) Britton, Rapid City; 6 grandchildren: Deb (Chad) Paulson; Andrea (Mike) Hill; Clifford (Jenny) Goodrich; Robert (Barbara) Kenton; Mike Kenton; and Charlene (Drew) Cheney; and seven great-grandchildren: Jordan Howe; Clifford (Cliffy) Goodrich; Candace Isaac; Amber Dastrup; Laura Britton-Cheney; Marcus Cheney; and Jean Marie Cheney; and one great- great grandchild; Carter Dastrup. She is preceded in death by her first husband Clifford Truesdell, her daughters: Patricia, Barbara (Oren) Goodrich; granddaughter, Tami Goodrich; great- great granddaughter, Layla Isaac; and her late husband Glen Marco. Memorial Services will at 7:00 PM, Saturaday, June 11, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home in Rapid City.
