Sherry Michele Rauch, 46, passed away on August 5, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Sherry Michele Rauch was born on August 26, 1968 in Ft. Riley Kansas. Sherry was united in marriage to Jim Rauch on September 1, 1984. Sherry was a very happy go lucky, outdoors type of person. She spent thirty wonderful years married to James Rauch, raising three children and being one of the best stay at home moms for twenty-three years. She was the type of person that could never sit in one place for longer than a minute. She was always the person you could call and know that she would be there to help you when she could. She loved planting her gardens, riding her four-wheelers, hunting and most of all spending time with her family. She was a very family oriented person and being able to spend holidays and weekends with her family was very important to her. Survivors include her husband, Jim Rauch, Rapid City; her parents, Lydia and Paul Carroll, of Rapid City; 2 sons, Derrick Rauch and his wife, Hannah, of Rapid City, Christopher Rauch and his wife, Theresa, of Rapid City; her daughter, Holly Rauch, of Lincoln, Nebraska; two brothers, Paul G. Carroll and his wife Judy of Rapid City and Michael Carroll and his wife Rebecca, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and five grandchildren, Izahia, Jozlynn, Dameon, Halie and Wyatt. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, August 11, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home. The service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12, at Osheim & Schmidt Funeral Home with Pastor Art Sartorius officiating. Burial will follow in Black Hills National Cemetery.
