RAPID CITY - Steven A. Ohlmacher, 46, Rapid City, died at Lead, S.D., on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012. He was born July 19, 1965, in Rapid City, the son of Albert and Rosemary (Donnelly) Ohlmacher. He grew up in Rapid City and graduated from Central High School in 1985. He attended and graduated from Western Dakota Vo-Tech with a degree in Building Maintenance. Steve was employed with Dacotah Cement Plant for a period of 17 years. He was an avid Broncos fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing and skiing. He also enjoyed darts and was a huge NASCAR fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was blessed with a good sense of humor and was a very caring and thoughtful person with a great love of family and friends. Survivors include his sons, Marcquis Ohlmacher and Nickalous OhImacher, both of North Dakota, a brother, Thomas M. Ohlmacher and his wife, Sharon, Denver, CO, sisters, Pat Fox, Lexington, Kentucky, Mikal Kulesza and her husband, Alex, Rapid City, Deb Ohlmacher, Rapid City, and Barb Rauet and her husband, Tim, Rapid City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law Bill Fox. Christian Wake Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the Osheim and Schmidt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m.. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Our Lady Chapel, with the Rev. Nathan Sparks presiding. A memorial educational fund for the benefit of his sons has been established.
