RAPID CITY | Sue M. Herges, 68, entered into rest Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Fountain Springs Healthcare Center. Sue graduated from T.F. Riggs High School in Pierre in 1962. She graduated from NAU in 1993 and graduated with an optical assistant degree in 1995. Mom you were taken from your loving family, and the things you enjoyed far too soon. Sue was a class act: poised, beautiful, thoughtful, creative and kind. Let's celebrate Mom today! The time is now, to let love flow through our hearts. I thought of you today but that was nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a Keepsake from which I'll never part. God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart. Survivors include her husband, Larry Herges, Rapid City; daughters Paula Bailie and Annette (Bruce) Rall, both of Rapid City, and Stefanie Salvas, Rapid City; a brother, John Davis, Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Patricia Syring, Germany; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Blessed Sacrament Church, with the Rev. Brian Lane presiding.
